That 60s vibe.

It took a few attempts to get photographs for this week. Let's just say Sydney weather was being difficult last week so succeeding in shooting my outfits was not going to happen. But today, just when I thought we were entering jacket and cardigan season, the sun came out and I was able to frolic around without one. I only have two weeks left in this neighbourhood, so I am enjoying taking in the idyllic surrounds and beautiful houses while I can.

I have always loved shift dresses and I have a few actual 60s and 70s ones, but the movement in this Urban Outfitters dress is just gorgeous. The slit in the back is beautiful and adds interest but is balanced out by the high neck and long sleeves. I always prefer to have a bit of my back out than the boobs, seems more subtle!

Spotty dress, dotty mind.

I felt a little bit like a school girl when shooting this outfit yesterday. A feeling that was reinforced when I managed to stumble into a pothole and end up sprawled in the middle of the road, being helped up by an elderly man and covered in scrapes and bruises. It has been a while since I had grazed knees! You will be pleased to know that my dress escaped mostly unharmed, sadly my sunglasses were not quite so lucky!

I am relishing the warm weather we still have in Sydney at the moment because I know it cannot last too much longer. Although I have some new jackets which I am looking forward to pairing with outfits once the colder months arrive.

Four Collar Dress.

This is such a deliciously sweet dress I couldn't help wearing it on Easter! That collar just melts my heart. Although I did have to change whilst in the kitchen. Roasts and white dresses do not go hand in hand! I feel like I reached a mile-stone this year being in charge of preparing roast. Usually it is a family event so there are lots of people there busily helping out, however this year things were such that my boyfriend and I were alone. But it is Easter right, a roast is necessary even just for two?! Although it is really just in theory for me because I am vegetarian! Broccoli and cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puddings are a personal favourite of mine.
